I haven't reached chapters 3/4 yet (I blame Jevil) (because it's his fault), so I'm basing this on premise vibes and the first couple of chapters.

Bakuda would not like any of this, especially not Ralsei. Susie would probably get along with Bakuda until the first war crime. Pretty high chance that Bakuda uses local materials to make some quirky danmaku bombs. Lots of good material.

Unfortunately, considering the connection between Light and Dark Worlds, there's a decent chance that the school, library, etc would also be shaken by an explosion, as though someone set off a (normal, smaller) bomb in the unused classroom/computer lab. And bomb threats against people who wouldn't bounce back are not funny at all.

Imp could probably have fun. Ralsei, not so much.

If Damsel embraced her Wicked Sorceress side in the right way, I think she, Susie, and Lancer could topple King and institute their own reign of terror. Until Ralsei explained the Roaring, because I don't think any of these characters would want to destroy the world.

I don't think it would be funny, per se, but I kinda want to watch it.

On one hand, Glaistig Uaine is pretty chill about the end of the world while she uses that moniker. On the other hand, she also has a pretty clear vision of how she expects the world to end, so she'd probably try to stop the Roaring. Any% flying speedrun, not funny.

Glory Girl has a heroic ideal every bit as firm as Ralsei's, but different in just the right way to make it incompatible. Unfortunately, you didn't ask about Glory Girl; you asked about Antares, who has mellowed out into a hero more interested in trying to talk things out.

Trickster would want to get out of the Dark World ASAP, and his powers let him get up to mischief without letting him easily bypass the whole plot. He's a contender. Unfortunately, he wouldn't get along with anyone.

I bet Bonesaw could vibe with the goofy logic of the Dark Worlds, and is likely willing to go along with whatever happens.

However! They also have a tolerance for violence and cruelty that would shock Ralsei (and most Dark Worlders who aren't Ralsei). If she got the opportunity to show off that side of herself, she's an easy winner.

The Slug would just sit there.

Tattletale would have a headache the entire time. Not for power reasons, though.

That's the only Tattletale-specific joke I can think of. I hope you like it.

I think Deltarune would do Panacea good. Oh darn, she has to go into the Dark World for some straightforward, unambiguous heroism? Sure, a lot of people might die if she doesn't get to the hospital today, but even more would die if she let The Roaring happen. She has no choice but to go on a fun goofy adventure every day.

I don't think she would add much to the comedy, though.

Where Panacea would see the Dark Worlds as temporary escapism, a relief from everyday life, Lookout would probably want to make the Dark World her new life. Ideally dragging the people she cares about in with her.

If we're focused on Chapter 2, Lookout would be funniest for self-explanatory reasons. But I don't think that balances out the grim tone of the other chapters.

While the Kennet trio in general and Avery in specific would be most adept at navigating the Dark World, Blake would probably get the gist of it. He'd get caught off-guard every time a Darkner broke a promise or something.

deltarune chapters 3 & 4 release today! So,

so I wanted to say that since I'm really enjoying this event, I will likely continue to post about it, including analysis. I want to talk about the game mechanics and strategies but it's been so hard to do without people thinking you're talking about the discourse. I think as a community we all need to be a little less jumpy about this event, because I've seen posts of people being afraid to talk about the team their watching because they don't want to be dragged into discourse. I think a lot of genuinely lighthearted posts about a fun event are being misconstrued as something malicious

all of my posts are made with the spirit of friendly competition. a lot of other people are posting like this too! people should be able to do this without getting accused of hating ccs or being unfair

i've been posting a lot about red team, specifically because that's who i've been watching the most. i watch pretty much every english speaking qsmp member, it just so happens that right now i have a sub to foolish so i've been watching him so i don't have to deal with ads. because of this, i will probably continue to talk about red team the most. i'll talk about blue and green teams when i watch them! if i had the time to watch vods from every team and do a complete strategy analysis, i would. but I don't have that time. i genuinely don't care which team wins, but that doesn't mean I won't be rooting for certain teams on certain days. like on day 2, red team going from barely visible on the score bar to winning the day was an amazing underdog story! of course i'm going to root for them! and for day 3 I was rooting for green team because i want to see fitmc tryhard!

at the end of the day this is a fun event. it's fun for the ccs so it should be fun for the fandom. and if you're scrolling thru tags and getting upset/annoyed/angry at people posting about a friendly competition, you might need to reevaluate yourself
